Abstract

The Populus spp.lower ends were soaked in 100,200,300 400,500 mg/L IAA solutions for 15 and 30 minutes to study the effects of IAA on poplar hardwood cuttings under different rooting concentration and time. Then the soaked hardwood cuttings were planted and observed. The rooting rates of different mass concentration, different cutting time were compared. The results show the most suitable concentration and soaking time for the cutting propagation were solution 200 mg/L and 15 minutes.
