On the change of the Yangtze River flood control system for 30 years since Chinese reformation and opening-up

In the combination of the great change of the Yangtze River flood control system for 30 years since Chinese reformation and opening-up, this paper introduces the concrete change of the Yangtze River flood control system, such as the Yangtze River levee, reservoir, flood impoundment and detention area, river channel regulation, polder dismantle for flood discharge etc. and non-structure measures of flood commanding and regulation system, water regime information system, flood communication and pre-alarm system, flood control law and regulation, flood organization. It is suggested that the structure system for the Yangtze River flood control with suitable standard and reasonable function should be speeded up and the construction of non-structure measures should be strengthened.
