Abstract

AIM To study assistant clinical value of serum tumor specific growth factors in diagnosis of lung cancer patients. METHODS The serum TSGF was detected and compared in 56 normal controls, in 63 patients with lung cancer. RESULTS The level of TSGF in patients with lung cancer patients was obviously higher than normal controls (P 0 01). The serum TSGF levels were decrease after treated ( P 0 05). The sensitivity and specificity were 89 29% and 91 07% respectively. CONCLUSION Clinical value of lung cancer patients in assistant diagnosis and indicate progress and prognosis.
