An Empirical Study of the Influencing Factors in University Students' Self-study——on the basis of universities' survey data

To probe into the present learning situation and the influencing factors in university students' self-study against the background of lifelong education,this article conducts a questionnaire survey to the junior college students,undergraduates and postgraduates of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,with its self-edited questionnaire.It tries to conduct an empirical study of the present situation and the influencing factors in university students' self-study through the construction of ordered probability model for university students' self-study.The results are:obvious influencing factors include being the only child,the interest in the specialty,the motivation of masteringdouble bases,regular life,wellplanned study and self-confidence;non-obvious influencing factors include sex,eduction of the parents,grade,family income,and expectation from the parents;slight influencing factors include learning environment and sociability.Thus the article puts forward the following suggestions:to actively train university students' awareness of self-study and to cultivate their interest in the specialty;to attach importance to the training of basic knowledge and basic abilities,esp.,the basic knowledge and abilities of specialty;to guide students in forming the habits of regular life and planned learning;to strengthen the training of students' sense of competence and self-confidence.
