Abstract
The structure of high-power gearbox is complex,the finite element pre-processing methods directly affect the accuracy of the results of modal analysis.This report put forward the suitable finite element pre-processing methods by making study to the element harmony,the joint manage mode and the number of element,and make the accurate finite modal by applying the research result to a certain type of gear box,accordingly assure the result of the modal analysis is accurate.This report using the hammer modal impact method for modal testing to the gearbox,comparae the modal analysis result to the test results of gearbox,validate the result of the modal analysis is exact and the pre-processing methods is suitable to the gear box.
