Abstract
OBJECTIVE An HPLC method was established for the determination of karvedilol tablets.METHODS RP-C_(18) analytical column was used. The mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.01 mol L~(-1) phosphate buffer solution(adjust pH to(3.5) by acetic acid)(65∶35,v/v).The detection wavelength was at 245 nm.Phenobarbital sodium was used as internal seandald.RESULTS The calibration curve was linear in the range of 20-120 mg·L~(-1)of karvedilol(r=(0.999 9)).The average recovery was(100.2%),with RSD of(1.01%)(n=6).CONCLUSION The HPLC method is simple, rapid and accurate for the determination of karvedilol tablets.
