Abstract
Objective To investigate the mental health state of middle or high school students of parents divorce and to find out the influence.Methods Stratified cluster sample was selected from 7 middle schools of Nanning city,2700 middle school students and their backgrounds were included in the investigation.Instruments comprised symptom check list-90(SCL-90) and self-designed questionnaire.Results 20.1% of the middle school students of parents divorce in Nanning have psychological problems.13.8% of the middle school students from the intact family in Nanning have psychological problems.The prevalence rate of the intact family students was statistically different from that of the divorced family' students(P0.01).The mean scores of all factors of SCL-90 in devoiced family were significant higher than the counterpart in the intact family' students(P0.01).Conclusion The parent's divorce is of significantly negative influence on the mental health of the middle students.The problem should be widely concerned.
