Therapeutic effect of Honghua injection on old people with acute cerebral infarction

Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Honghua injection on old people with acute cerebral infarction. Methods 110 patients with acute cerebral infarction identified by brain CT were randomly allocated to two groups.Honghua injection was utilized in the treatment group (n = 65) and Danshen injection was carried on in the control group (n = 45). Effect of post - treatment was judged according to criteria of nervous function damage degree.Results The total effective rate (86.2%) was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (68.9% , P 0.05) .Conclusion Effect of Honghua injection on acute cerebral infarction is safe and effective,and without side effect.
