Abstract
Objective To investigate the characteristics of the distribution and the drug resistance of yeast-like fungi isolated from patients in our hospital from 2004 to 2007.Methods The fungi were cultrured by SAD and identified by API identifiaction system. The antifungal susceptibility was detected by Bact-IST analysis system. Results 238 stains of yeast-like fungi which belonged to 8 species were isolated from 338 samples.Candida albicans was predominant, accounted for 68.69 %,followed by C.tropicalis,C.glabrata,C.parapsiosis.70 stains of Candida were resistant to antifungal drugs in variable degrees. The resistant rate of C.albicans To Amphotericin B and Nystatin were 11.43% and 10%,respectively.The resistant rate of C.albicans to Fluconazole and Itraconazole were 18.25% and 25.92%,respectively.Conclusions Candida albicans was the predominant opportunity pathogenic Candida in our hospital during the last 3 years. The Fluconazole and the Itraconazole were detected with the highest rate of resistamce of C.albicans
