Surveillance on Measles Antibody Level and the Effect of Boosting Immunization in Healthy Population and Serological Effect of Intensive Immunization With Measles Vaccine

This paper reported the results of measles antibody detection in 560 persons aged 0～14 years in Yongzhou City.The overall antibody positive rate was 77.57% and the antibody geometric mean titres(GMT) was 1:783.Seropositive rate of 1～12 years-old age group was the highest(85.71%～98.44%) as compared with the other age groups.After the age of 6,antibody GMT was shown to be in the range of middle and low levels.The seropositive rate of measles antibody dropped along with the growth of age.A total of 120 toddles aged 8～12 months and 140 children aged 5～7 years randomly selected from 560 children were observed after measles vaccination primary or boosting injection,the successful rate was 96.8% and 77.9%.And the GMT increased by 28.4 times and 3.1 times respectively.Whether primary or boosting the immunization result is better among those with low antibody titres.
