Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of electroacupuncture plus medication for cervical headache.Method One hundred patients with cervical headache were randomly allocated to two groups.The treatment group received electroacupuncture plus medication with Xuesetong and the control group,medication with Xuesetong alone.The therapeutic effects were evaluated using the VAS after 2 courses of treatment.Result There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in therapeutic effect and the VAS score between the two groups(P0.05).They were better in the treatment group than in the control group.Conclusion Electroacupuncture plus medication with Xuesetong can significantly improve the therapeutic effect on cervical headache.
