Abstract
Effects of several factors on callus induction and adventitious bud differentiation from receptacle of Gerbera were studied. The results showed that the optimal medium for callus induction from receptacle in the primary cultivation was 1/2MS+6-BA 10 mg/L +NAA 0.2 mg/L+IAA 0.3 mg/L.Among 3 basic media, the 1/2MS medium was best for callus induction and adventitious bud differentiation. The suitable secondary culture medium for effective reduction of calls browning was 1/2MS+ 6-BA 3 mg/L +NAA 0.2 mg/L+IAA 0.1 mg/L,by which the differentiation rate and the average number of adventitious bud were 67.5% and 2.3 respectively.High efficient regeneration system laid the foundation for establishment of gene transformation system of Gerbera.
