Abstract
Single factor expts.were carried out for finishing resin kinds and dosage, catalyst dosage, additives and their dosage, baking temp.and time, etc.to find out the main factors affecting the DP finishing results. The optimal process conditions were finally detd.for DP finishing of cotton/XLA elastic fabrics by orthogonal optimizing expts.:70 g/L resin WFR-4,[20%(resin finishing agent basis)] catalyst C-1,20 g/L polyethylene emulsion WFE-3,40 g/L softener WFS-2,20 g/L polyurethane WFP-2,1 g/L penetrant PA-2 and 1 g/L citric acid, and baking 3 min at 160 ℃.After finishing, the fabric flatness attained rate 3.5 or more, retention of tensile strength at break not less than 55% and residual formaldehyde on fabrics less than 75 mg/kg.
