Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of early enteral nutrition for ICU patients with severe traumatic brain injury.Method:A comparative analysis on the implementation of early enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition on the nutritional status of patients, the effect of early enteral nutrition support was reflected.Totally 100 cases with severe traumatic brain injury in our hospital from July 2012 to May 2013 were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group for 50 cases and the control group for 50 cases. The test group was given early enteral nutritional support, the control group was given parenteral nutrition support.Result:Patients admitted to a week after treatment, the total protein in the blood testing(TP)and albumin(ALB)were detected in the experimental group, found that TP and ALB were significantly higher than the control group, and the risk of complications was significantly less than that of the control group, there were statistically significant differences(P0.05).Conclusion:With high safety and good efficacy, early enteral nutrition is well worth clinical application in the treatment of ICU severe traumatic brain injury.
