The Application of Early Enteral Nutrition in Patients with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect early enteral nutrition in severe brain injury.Method: 80 patients with severe traumatic brain injury were randomly divided into the observed group and the control group,each with 40 cases,then observed group used enteral nutrition early,while the control group used early parenteral nutrition support,patients with immune parameters were compared,the protein level and complications.Result: After two weeks of treatment,the levels of serum immune parameters,the protein level and incidence of complications in observed group were superior than the control group,there were significant differences(P 0.05).Conclusion: Enteral nutritional support is safe,easy,consistent with the physiological characteristics for patients with severe traumatic brain injury.Early enteral nutrition can significantly improve immunity,reduce complications,It is worthy of clinical application.
