Abstract

[Objective] The research was constructed to study the application effect of water-retaining agent on the strawberry test-tube plantlets planting out of bottle.[Method] The different amounts of water-retaining agent mixed with perlite substrate were used to study the effects of water-retaining agent on the root development and the survival rate of plantlets were during the period of transplanting the strawberry test-tube plantlets.[Result] The treatments of supplementing different amounts of water-retaining agents had different influences on the root development of transplanting the strawberry testtube plantlets. The root development in treatment Ⅲ with 1% water-retaining agent was best, with the average numbers of developed roots in every plantlet being 12.25.The optimum state in the experiment range was as follows: the water-retaining agent in the substrate at the concentration of 1%,watering once,3 plants being polluted and the survival rate of plantlets of 98.9%.[Conclusion] The formula with the water-retaining agent concentration of 1% had better effects, promoted the development of plantlet roots and increased the survival rate of plantlet.
