Abstract

With AutoCAD software as a platform,this paper realizes cylindrical gear and helical gear modeling by Autolisp language.Based on AutoCAD,we can realize model building of involute gear with the help of Autolisp.The user can draw a gear only by inputting the needed number,which is simple,accurate and can greatly shorten the design cycle and improve design efficiency,and helps us to design more complicated gear models with great potentials for application.
