Abstract
This paper introduces a program design of involute gear generation based on AutoCAD by Autolisp program.The program design is based on the principle of gear generation and the imitation of the working principle of the gear generating instrument.The whole program is presented.Successfully parameterized drawing of involute gear using this program can be achieved,drawing of involute gears is of quick speed and accuracy.The method advanced will offer help for teachers and de-signers in the related field.
