Abstract
sulfonyl-3,5-diamino-1H-pyrazole-4-nitriles(3) were synthesized by the reaction of sulfonylation of 3,5-diamino-1H-pyrazole-4-nitriles(2), which were prepared from 2-cyano-3,3-dimethylthio acrylonitrile as starting material with arylamines. All the novel compounds were confirmed by ~1H NMR and elemental analysis, and some by IR and MS. Some of the target compounds show excellent herbicidal activities.
