Abstract
The thought of modem Chinese musical education had great influences on our musical educational behavior in the past century and was of great significance to the history of Chinese musical education.Starting from the analysis of the background and the basis on which modem Chinese music was born,the writer of the paper summaries modem Chinese music thought into three functions:aesthetic function,moral education and health.The author believes that the summary will be of great help to the general understanding the thought of modem Chinese musical education.
