Abstract

Separation of bisoprolol enantiomers by HPLC was established using the carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin(CM-β-CD in short)as chiral mobile phase additive. The influences of type and concentration of chiral mobile phase additive, the content of methanol, the pH value and the flow rate on the enantiomers separation were investigated systematically. The baseline separation was achieved when the mobile phase consist of methanol-acetonitrile-water 20∶67∶13,V/V/V,pH=4.07(adjusted by triethylamine-glacial acetic acid),containing 0.5g·L-1 CM-β-CD,at the flow rate of 0.3mL·min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 223nm.The resolution of enantiomers was 1.89.
