Abstract
Separation of etilefrine hydrochloride enantiomers by HPLC was established using the carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin(CM-β-CD in short) as chiral mobile phase additive.The influences of type and concentration of chiral mobile phase additives,the organic modifier,the pH value,the concentration of triethylamine and the flow rate on the enantiomers separation were investigated.The beest separation was achieved when the mobile phase consist of(V(methanol)∶V(acetonitrile)∶V(water)=15∶70∶15),containing 0.6 g·L-1 CM-β-CD and 0.14%(V/V) triethylamine,pH 3.92,at the flow rate of 0.2 mL·min-1.The detection wavelength was set at 214 nm.
