The Imperial Examination System and its culture contribute a lot to the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty Novels.The contributions are the following:Xing Juan(the candidates for imperial examination submit their works to senior officials and famous writers in order to gain reputation)led to the rise of Tang Dynasty Novels;the prevailing of Imperial Examination System gave a lot of material to the Tang Dynasty Novels;the scholars that cultivated by the Imperial Examination System offered authors for the Tang Dynasty Novels,and the culture that created by the Imperial Examination System such as using of flourish words and phrases promoted to the maturity of Tang Dynasty Novels.
