Monitoring of Bird Community at Nanhaizi Wetland of Inner Mongolia

Bird community at Nanhaizi wetland was investigated by patrol and monitoring from March to December in 2008.There were 93 species of birds at Nanhaizi wetland,which belonged to 32 families and 16 orders.Among them,the first-grade state protection bird had 1 species and 9 species were the second-grade state protection species.Most of them were wetland bird.41 species belonged to summer visitors,10 species were resident migrants,40 species were passing migrants and 2 species were winter visitors.According to the bird flora,61 species were part of the Palaearctic realm and 31 species pertain to the Peregrinus and 1 species was Oriental realm.
