Abstract
Preparation of cyclohexene by catalyzed dehydration of cyclohexanol by SnCl4·5H2O under microwave irradiation was studied. The influences of catalyst amount, microwave irradiation power and time on the reaction were investigated.Thee most suitable conditions for the reaction were as follows: cyclohexanol 10mL, SnCl4·5H2O 2g, microwave irradiation power 600W,time 10 min.The yield was up to 68.4%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
