Abstract
Objective To discuss influence and curative effect observation of montelukast on inflammatory cytokines levels of children with cough variant asthma(CVA). Methods A total of 70 cases of children with CVA were divied into experimental group and control group at random. The children in control group were given ketotifen tablets 0.5 ~1mg for one time twice a day. The children in experimental group were given montelukast dulcets 5mg for one time once a day for 8 weeks. Results After 8 weeks' medical treatment, the serum hs-CRP, TNF-α and IL-6 levels of children in two groups were declined obviously, while the IL-10 level were rose obviously than before(P 0.05 or P 0.0 1), and the declining or rising rates in experimental group were much higher than those in control group(P 0.05). Meanwhile, total clinical efficiency of children in experimental group was much higher than that in control group(χ2=5.29,P 0.05). 4 and 2 cases of drug adverse reaction(ADR) were appeared in children of control group and experimental group respectively with light symptom. After comparing the occurrence rates of ADR during the med-ical treatment, no obvious statistical difference were appeared(χ2=0.18, P 0.05). Conclusion Montelukast has reliable curative effect and security on children with CVA, which has close effect on reducing the airway chronic inflam-matory reaction.
