Clinical applications of Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant combined with preventive resin restoration on the early pit and fissure caries of deciduous molar in children

Objective:To evaluate the clinical applications of Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant combined with preventive resin restoration on the early pit-and-fissure caries of deciduous molar in Children.Method:Three hundred and eighty-two deciduous molars with small carious lesions within pits and fissures were enrolled into the study and divided into two groups equally and randomly,and filled with Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant or Helioseal pit and fissure sealant respectively.Be followed up for 1-3 years.Result:After 3 years,the complete retention rates of Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant are respectively:94.12 %、86.49 %、78.65 %;the incidence rates of caries are respectively:0 %、2.16 %、3.93 %;the incidence rate of caries in the treatment group is markedly lower than that in the control group(P 0.05).The retention rate of sealant showed negative correlation with the incidence rate of caries.Conclusion:Helioseal F pit and fissure sealant combined with preventive resin restoration can effectively prevent and cure Pit-and-fissure Caries of deciduous molar in Children,its caries-preventive effect is much better than that of traditional Helioseal pit and fissure sealant.
