Meta-analysis of comparative study in treatment of negative symptom between aripiprazole and clozapine

Abstract

Objective To study the difference in treatment of negative symptom between aripiprazole and clozapine.Methods 15 studies that compare effects differences in treatment of negative symptom between aripiprazole and clozapine were analyzed by meta-analysis in comprehensive and effect side.Result The significant difference in change of symptom before and after treatment by aripiprazole was found,d=1.77,95%CI(1.65,1.89),χ2=58.7,P0.001;The significant difference in change of negative symptom between treatment by aripiprazole group and clozapine group,d=0.223,95%CI(0.104,0.342),χ2=4.15,P0.05.Conclusion The significant in change of negative symptom between treatment by aripiprazole group and clozapine group was found(Aripiprazole is better to clozapine in change of negative symptom).
