Abstract
The process of coagulation-hollow fibre ultrafiltration integrated with particle active carbon can remove turbidity and organic matters in micro-polluted water effectively. The turbidity of this combined membrane reactor's effluent was always stabilized on 0.350 NTU and the removal rates of UV_(254) and TOC were respectively about 60% and 40% after the reactor worked 550 minutes continuously. The filtration behavior of UF in this process is steady after a brief degressive phase. The cleaning experiment showed that the fouling was mainly produced by the small molecule organic.
