Data Conversion from MaPGIS to ArcGIS

Abstract

MapGIS and ArcGIS have to be the two geographic information system platforms in China because of their advantages in map compilation and data analysis.It is a frequent thing to translate the data between the two softwares,and it is difficultly to make it quickly,effective and non-loss.This paper introduced a converting method by comparing the difference of the point,the line,the polygon information between the two GIS softwares,then introduce how to use the COM technology to convert the data conversion.
