Microsurgical Treatment of Tuberculum Sellae Meningioma

Objective To investigate the early diagnosis,surgery approach and technique of tuberculum sellae meningioma.Method To retrospectively analyse clinical data of 39 cases of tuberculum sellae meningioma.Results Of all these 39 cases,28 cases were totally resected;6cases were subtotally resected;5 cases were partially resected;there were no motality during surgery.Conclusion CT and MRI examination is important for early diagnosis of tuberculum sellae meningioma.Selection of surgery approach depends on the size and growth direction of the tumor.Techniques with microscope have greatly improved the results.
