Abstract
Objective:To clone a cDNA of bovine interleukin-18 and analyze sequence. Methods:The full length cDNA of boIL-18 from the bovine peripheral blood lymphocyte which is stimulated by ConA was amplified by nest-PCR. It was cloned in pMD18-T vector and sequence was analyzed. Results: Homology between the cloning sequence and the sequences of boIL-18 registered in the genbank are 99. 5% and 99%. Homology of nucleotide sequence between the cloning sequence and the sequences of Homo, Macaca, Sus scrofa, Capra and Equus is in 84.9% -99.5%. Homology of amino acid sequence of them is in 74.9% - 99%. Conclusion: BoIL-18 from the bovine peripheral blood lymphocyte has been cloned successfully and its full length is 598 bp.
