Abstract
Objective A comparative study of hand use stainless steel tube expandingclinical effect of file and the Mtwo root ex-pansion system root canal preparation after operation. Methods To selecrt clinical 62 teeth with chronic pulpitis or chronic periapicalperiodontitis need for root canal treatment, total 146 root canals, respectively using stainless steel files and Mtwo nickel titanium filesfor root canal preparation, formocresol cotton temporarily closed for a week to observethe incidence of postoperative pain. Results Hand use stainless steel file group of pain in 8 teeth with 17 root canals after operation, Mtwo group of pain in 3 teeth with 6 root ca-nals after operation, after X2 square test, there were statistically significant differences. Conclusions The clinical effect of nickel titani-um rotary instruments in root canal preparation is better than manual stainless steel file. Mtwo machine is worthy of clinical use.
