The influence on the use of antibacterial in hospitals caused by the medical insurance catalogue adjusted changes

Objective Through analyzing antibiotics prescription in some representative hospitals in Guangzhou before and after the adjustment of the medical insurance catalogue in 2004,the research will offer some reference information for the revision of the medical insurance catalogue.Methods To evaluate the usage of antibiotics in some representative hospitals in Guangzhou before and after the adjustment of the medical insurance catalogue in 2004,this article employed the frequency analysis method and the correspondence factor analysis method.Results Hospitals tend to choose the Medicare drugs,especially the second group of the drugs.Conclusion The Medicare Catalogue has an influence on choosing drugs in hospitals,so it's roles of guidance in medical treatment should be paid enough attention to.
