A Comparison Study on the Three Way to Induction of Labor in Midpregnancy

Objective A comparison study on effect of mifepristone combined with misoprostol terminate the mid-term gestation. Methods To analyse and compare the 264 cases of induced abortion in mid-term pregnancy (2007.6-2009.9)in our hospital ,and divided it into three groups: mifepristone combined misoprostol group, water-cyst group and ethacridine group. Results The successful induced abortion rate in mifepristone combined with misoprostol (94.84% ) is higher than the others and the abortion time is shorter than the other groups. Conclusion mifepristone combined with misoprostol to terminate the mid-term pregnancy is safe ,short time ,and more lower expenditure way ,especially for the base or community hospital application .
