Abstract
Objective To study the treatment of essential hypertension, further understand the necessity of combination drug therapy, for accumulating clinical experience and directing the clinical work. Methods 155 cases were divided into two groups. The experimental group(80 cases)was treated by enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide. The control group(75 cases) was treated by enalapril. Results The total effective rate was obviously higher in the experimental group(97.50%)than in the control group(89.33%).The rate of adverse reaction was obviously lower in the experimental group(3.75%) than in the control group(13.33%).Conclusion Efficacy of enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide was satisfied.Their combination drug therapy is worthy of being recommended in patients with essential hypertension.
