Effect observation on bisoprolol combined with amiodarone in patients with congestive heart failure and tachyarrhythmia

Objective To investigate the curative effect of bisoprolol combined with amiodarone in patients with congestive heart failure and tachyarrhythmia.Methods 86 patients with congestive heart failure and tachyarrhythmia were randomly divided into treatment group(43 cases) and control group(43 cases).In control group,patients were treated with amiodarone;in treatment group,they were treated with bisoprolol in the basis of therapy for control group.Before and after treatment,the markers of heart rate,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),corrected QT interval(QTc) and drug side effects were compared.Results The clinical effective rate was 86.0% in treatment group,while that was 62.8% in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.01).The effects of supraventricular arrhythmias or ventricular arrhythmias in treatment group were significantly better than those in control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The heart rates before and after treatment were(90.12±11.20) beats/min and(65.87±8.34) beats/min in treatment group,(89.93±10.98) beats/min and(72.23±9.43) beats/min in control group.After treatment,the heart rates apparently declined in two groups compared with before treatment,but decreased more significantly in treatment group(P0.01).LVEF before and after treatment were(31.34±4.58)% and(48.03±5.48)% in treatment group,(32.03±4.92)% and(40.38±5.29)% in control group.QTc before and after treatment were(401.93±54.30) ms and(437.37±63.54) ms in treatment group,(418.37±58.49) ms and(487.65±66.48) ms in control group.LVEF and QTc in both groups increased obviously compared with before treatment(P0.01),however,LVEF in treatment group increased more significantly than that in control group(P0.01),while QTc in treatment group increased less than that in control group(P0.01).Conclusion The efficacy of bisoprolol combined with amiodarone in patients with congestive heart failure and tachyarrhythmia is very obvious,and the therapy is better than that of amiodarone alone.The therapy is safe,well tolerated with less side effect.
