Evaluation of the effect of amiodarone in treatment of congestive heart failure with ventricular arrhythmias

Objective To evaluate the effect of amiodarone in treatment of congestive heart failure with ventricular arrhythmias.Methods 80 patients with congestive heart failure by ventricular arrhythmias were included in the study.According to admission order,they were randomly divided into observation group and control group(n=40).Control group were given conventional anti-heart failure treatment.In the control group,based on the observation group were treated with oral amiodarone in treatment,1 week 200mg,tid;frequency of medication 2 weeks to bid,the first 3 weeks and later changed to qd,regular medication for 8 weeks during treatment appropriate dose adjustment according to specific circumstances.Observe and compare the two groups before and after treatment in patients with ventricular arrhythmia,QTc and cardiac function,and to explore its clinical effect.Results After treatment,the two groups of patients with ventricular arrhythmias improved significantly improve the situation in which the observation group than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05),and QTc was significantly prolonged,functional class decreased.The difference was statistically significant(P0.05) compared with before treatment;observed in patients after treatment,20 cases markedly effective in 18 cases,2 cases,the total effective rate was 95.0%,significantly higher than that in the control group(67.5%),The difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Amiodarone has efficacy significantly fewer adverse reactions,significant ventricular arrhythmias role,can be used as anti arrhythmic drug of choice in the treatment of congestive heart failure with ventricular arrhythmias.
