Abstract

The Xin'anjiang model is chosen according to the topography and rainfall for Nenjiang river basin with 6h forecast time.The paper introduces the modeling process,model structure,parameters and calibration in detail.Through the scheme compilation of flood forecast for Nenjiang river basin knowing that the forecast precision is effected by many factors,but the rainfall data is the dominant factor.The better qualified rate is got from forecast station of the discharge influenced mainly by confluence and the big density of rainfall station.The using of Xin'anjiang model for Nenjiang river basin improves the forecast precision and prolongs the forecast period,supplies reasonable achievements for flood drought control and water resources management.
