Some Thoughts on the Present Dilemma in the Teaching of College Chinese and the Reform of the Course

Abstract

The 30 more year long course of College Chinese is now caught in a difficult situation.The major causes come from the uncertain goals set for the course and various factors within the course itself.To solve the dilemma,we need to further reform the course so that it can become an integrated and indispensable component in college education for a higher quality of the students.
