Application of sevoflurane combined with ketamine for intravenous anesthesia in children with oblique hernia surgery

Abstract

Objective o observe the feasibility,safety and advantages of sevoflurane combined with ketamine in intravenous anesthesia during operation of pediatric oblique hernia.Methods Eighty children who are pediatric oblique hernia patient and prepare to be operated were divided into two groups randomly:group A adopt sevoflurane combined with ketamine in intravenous anesthesia;group B adopt midazolam mixed with ketamine in intravenous anesthesia.And then monitoring the related parameter about respiratory and circular system and recording anesthesia effect、adverse reaction、recovery time and the dosage of ketamine during anesthesia.Results Through the experiment we would come to a conclusion,compared with group B,the dosage of ketamine was obiviously reduced (P0.05),recovery time was obiviously shorten(P0.05),and the incidence of adverse reaction was descreased in group A.Conclusion Application of sevoflurane combined with ketamine has advantage of midazolam combined with ketamine in intravenous anesthesia during the operation of pediatric obilique hernia.
