Abstract

Ancient Chinese is one of the most important courses for the Chinese teaching as a foreign language,but it is often stressed as a literature classic while it is often ignored as a carrier of classic language. As a result,less progress has been made in the teaching and learning of Chinese as a foreign language. The study of the current situation of the Ancient Chinese teaching,summarization and improvement of the teaching methods are intended to employ its cultural value and humanistic connotation to benefit the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
