Abstract
Japanese classical gardens had been deeply influenced by Chinese classical gardens, but they had developed their own typical characters in the garden arts, which were different from the characters of Chinese classical gardens. The influence of the aesthetics of Zen had not changed the rational expression of Chinese classical garden;actually it's the combination of mood and mind, the presentation of fullness of poetic charms.Japanese classical gardens had reflected the meanings of dull and loneliness, the adoration of mana, and the pursuit of the highest point of the Buddhist esthetics.
