Abstract

Five wild Pennisetumseeds in different habitats were used as materials in this study.Drought stress was induced by Polyethylene Glycol 6000at the germination period,and water control treatment was used at the seedling growth period.The relative germination rate,relative germination potential,leaf relative electrical conductivity and leaf relative water content were measured.Drought resistance of these wild Pennisetumin germination and the seedling was comprehensive analyzed.The results showed that drought resistance of ST,YJ2were higher,drought resistance of FX and DY were lower in the different Pennisetum at the germination period;Drought resistance of ST and NS were higher,drought resistance of YJ2and FX were lower in the different Pennisetumat the seedling growth period.Comprehensive ranking of drought resistance for Pennisetumat the germination and seedling stage was STNSYJ2DYFX.
