On the Function of Social Organizations in Constructing a Harmonious Society

During the process of constructing a harmonious socialist society, social organizations not only play the role of providing certain public services, protecting the benefits of certain groups and promoting democratic political construction, but also help share social risks, resolve social contradictions and maintain social stability. However, the development of social organization system is not mature in China, where both its quality and the external environment need further improvement.
