Abstract
Objective To develop an HPLC method for the fingerprint analysis on flavonoids and phenolic acids from Flos Chrysanthem(HangJu).Methods HPLC was performed with the Kromasil 100-5 C 18 column, and the acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid solution(gradient elution) was employed as a mobile phase. The detection wavelength was 350 nm,and column temperature was 35 ℃.The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min- 1.Results 21 common peaks were identified from 14 batches of Flos Chrysanthem, including 15 flavonoids and 6 phenonic acids. The similarity was evaluated on the Similarity evaluation system for chromatographic fingerprint of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The similarities of 14 batches were 0.926- 0.998,which indicated that the quality of Flos Chrysanthem was relatively stable. Conclusion The method is accurate and reproducible, which could be used for the quality control of Flos Chrysanthem.
