Abstract

Objective To approach the changes of the corneal endothelium cell density in different cataract operation after glaucoma surgery. Methods Totally 58 cases(58 eyes) were randomly divided into two groups, patients in group A accepted transparent corneal incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction, patients in group B accepted temperal of temporalupper manual small incision cataract extraction. To observe the corneal endothelium cell density before and after cataract surgery. Results The mean corneal endothelium cell density after operation in group A and group B was(2004±152)mm2 and(1825±191)mm2,there was no significant statistical difference(P0.05).Conclusions The loss of corneal endothelium in two methods operation was identical on the whole.
