Clinical observation of 50 cases of rheumatoid arthritis treated with Sishenjian

objective To observe the curative effect and safety of treating RA(syndrome of qi deficiency and dampness-heat) by using Sishenjian.Method Fifty patients were randomly assigned to two groups: the treatment group(Sishenjian) and the control group(Shirebi).The curative effect and the safety were observed and compared between the two groups.Results The curative effect of the group was superior to that of the control group with a statistical significance.The total effective rates in the group and in the control group were 92.0% and 65.2% respectively;and the excellent rates were 32.0% and 8.7% respectively.Statistical results indicated that remarkably lowered the symptom-marks of RA and alleviated the discomforts caused by RA.Patients of the Sishenjian group didn't show unhealthy reactions,so it's safety and reliability.Conclusion is mainly used for treating RA with syndrome of qi deficiency and dampness-heat,especially for patients with swollen and painful joints which skin-temperature is high.The clinical effect of is good and with higher safety.
