Relationship of autophagy-related gene PTEN and Beclinl in papillary thyroid carcinoma

Objective To detect the protein expression of autophagy-related gene PTEN and Beclinl in papillary thyroid carcinoma,and discuss the correlation and significance of its with occurrence,development of papillary thyroid carcinoma.Methods Using immunohistochemical staining method to detect papillary thyroid carcinoma 78 cases of thyroid carcinoma,45 cases of cancer by normal mucosa tissue(distance cancerous tissue2cm) autophagy Beclinl gene related PTEN and the protein expression,and combined with clinical pathological factors were analyzed.Results Papillary thyroid carcinoma tissues PTEN and Beclinl positive expression rate(41.0% and 43.6%) significantly lower than that in normal tissue(77.8% and 73.3%)(P0.05);PTEN with papillary thyroid carcinoma with the capsule infringe degree,lymph node metastasis,gender,regardless of age had no relationship(P0.05).Beclinl with thyroid carcinoma of the lymph node metastasis relevant had some relationship(P0.05),and with coated infringe degree,gender,regardless of age had no relationship(P0.05).And PTEN with Beclinl in papillary thyroid carcinoma had positively correlated(r=0.532).Conclusion Autophagy-related gene PTEN and Beclinl in papillary thyroid carcinoma decreased protein expression,and with tumor lymph node metastasis are concerned.Autophagy activity with the change may be related to occurrence and development of papillary thyroid carcinoma.
