Abstract
Adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ) ions in wastewater by peanut shell was studied, and some influence factors were investigated, such as pH value, temperature, adsorption time, adsorbent dosage and so on.The orthogonal test was designed to confirm the influence degree of adsorption ability, and to find out the best adsorption conditions.Experimental results show that, when the Cr(Ⅵ) wastewater concentration is 30 mg/L,dosing 1 g peanut shells into 50mg/L wastewater, adjusting pH value to 2.0,adsorbing 300 min at room temperature,Cr(Ⅵ) removal rate can reach above 85%.
